RC Helicopters | Best RC Helicopters for Beginners

Welcome to our current range of RC helicopters, featuring the most popular models by Ninco Air, Walkera, E-Sky and Copter-X. These models provide hours of entertainment for all skill levels of radio controlled pilot, from models such as the Ninco 180 Alupro which can have the absolute beginner up-and-away in a matter of minutes (once the model is charged), through to the Walkera 450D01 - designed only for the fully trained experienced pilots. Our personal favourite, and it seems many of our customers, is the Ninco 535 Alu Max. This large scale helicopter (rotor diameter is 53.5cm - but the box it comes in is almost twice that size!) needs plenty of room, but it's simple and impressive to fly.

We've started to mark images on our products with our new colour-coded guide so that it makes it simpler to focus on the RC helicopters that are more suited to your flying skill level. We specialise in beginner and amateur level helicopters currently, although as you will see by the coloured markers, we also provide a good range of models for advanced and professional level pilots too. The guide works like this;

Green - The Best RC Helicopters for Beginners
Yellow - The Best RC Helicopters for Amateurs-Advanced Level
Red - The Best RC Helicopters for Professionals only

Please note, whilst we cannot stop you from purchasing an RC helicopter more advanced than your skill level, we do advise that professional level models can be considered dangerous if you are not trained to fly. Please contact your local model flying club or the BMFA for more information on this.
