Simply Hobbies Model Shop supplies a range of radio controlled models including (RC) Helicopters and cars from Ninco Hobby, available to buy online. This Spanish based company is somewhat unknown by many in the UK, but don't let that put you off as they are also a rapidly growing name. They are best known for their range of Slot Car products, but over the past few years their Radio Controlled Helicopters have come a long way and are a much sought after toy. Many of the models are similar to other brands, in fact the current flaship model, the AluMax 535 is almost identical to models such as the Double Horse Volitation and Revell 'Big-One'. This means there are a wide number of replacement and spare parts available at great prices.

The Ninco range of Radio Controlled Helicopters are mostly aimed towards the beginner to intermediate level model pilot, and are far safer to use than rushing out and buying a more professional model before you are really ready to try. We advise our customers to usually speak to their local flying club, or the BMFA (British Model Flying Association) but with these models you don't really need to. They are listed as 'indoor' helicopters as most of them (we would suggest with the exception of the 535 AluMax, unless you have a HUGE living room) can be flown in your home or other indoor spaces. The controls are simple and responsive, although take care not to crash into breakable objects. You can of course take these models outside too - although please use common sense and take care not to hurt other people or any animals, and also wait for a calm day - they are not designed to respond to wind and you can quite quickly find your model flying off where you weren't intending it to go.
